AGM and Call for Nominations and Notifications

The Auckland University Rugby Football Club (AURFC) notifies all members that its Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at its Clubrooms at Colin Maiden Park, 71 – 73 Merton Road, St Johns, on Thursday 19 November 2026 from 6 pm.

If you wish to attend the AGM, please email confirmation to John Afoa at john.afoa@aurfc.co.nz.

Elections

Prior to the AGM, the AURFC’s Committee calls for nominations for the following elected positions to be voted on at the AGM:

Officers

• President

• Secretary – the incumbent Simon Cartwright is seeking re-election.

• Treasurer – the incumbent David Sisam is seeking re-election.

• Honorary Solicitor – the incumbent Brad Davis is seeking re-election.

Elected Committee Members

Two positions are available:

• Waimania Teddy’s 2-year term has ended. Waimania is seeking re-election for a 3-year term.

• Daniel Braid’s 3-year term has ended. Daniel is not seeking re-election.

Other

The Committee also calls for:

- Nominations for life membership.

- Notification of any motions or constitutional amendments or any other matters which members would like to be            included as part of the AGM’s general business.

Any nominations and notifications must be received not later than Thursday 5 November 2026. Nominations and notifications should be sent to the AURFC’s Secretary Simon Cartwright at simon.cartwright@heskethhenry.co.nz.

Nominations must be in the form of a completed scanned copy of the AURFC AGM Nomination Form which can be found on the AURFC website: http://www.aurfc.co.nz or requested from Simon Cartwright at the above email address.
